Twitter tested an anti-troll feature earlier in the year, allowing select users to choose who is able to reply to their tweets. Anime industry veteran Vic Mignogna is currently facing an abundance of sexual harassment allegations after numerous victims of his misconduct have begun to speak out. Update: After less than 24 hours since this post, Apple has removed the DiscoRecorder tethering app from the App Store. The developer forwarded along an automated email that he received. He received no specific explanation from Apple. Since the App Store’s launch, a few developers have tried creative tactics to enable free and unlimited tethering for iPhone users. Most of these tricks either made their way onto the App Store due to an apparently accidental app acceptance by Apple, or by way of a creativity....

From 9to5Google: Google posted an Update from the CEO on its Official Google Blog today where Larry Page announced that Android chief Andy Rubin will officially be leaving the Android team to take up a new role at the company. Rovio has released a big update today to its original Angry Birds app, which happens to remain as the #1 app of all time. Today’s update brings a brand new gameplay mode known as “Egg Defender,” which according to iTunes gives “Red special powers to attack the advancing pigs.” Also included in today’s update is 15 new levels with all-new challenges, as well as “73 crazy pig contraptions” straight from Rovio’s hit spin off title ‘Bad Piggies’....
Apple has denied this, stating that while it wanted the agency model for its own store, it was “indifferent” – a word it has used on the stand twice – to the arrangements publishers had with other retailers. By now, players will be familiar with the notion that Anthem is a middling game that has some extraordinary qualities in it. Apple today has added three new channels to the Apple TV lineup: A&E, The History Channel, and Lifetime. Each channel does require a cable subscription to unlock full content, but it appears the most recent episodes of shows are available without unlocking the channels. At the time of launch, each channel only supports DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, and Cablevision Optimum, but the network says it will add support for more providers soon....

This is a huge growth for Android, as just a year ago, the amount of Android apps, was no where near iOS.
