Earlier this month, a report suggested that Evernote was in a “death spiral” as it cycled through several of its most senior executives. Now, TechCrunch reports that Evernote has cut roughly 15 percent of its workforce, a move that was announced to employees today at an all-hands meeting. According to the report, Evernote CEO Chris O’Neill told employees that the company had “no choice” but to lay off 54 employees – which equates to roughly 15 percent of its workforce....

The U.S. trailer has arrived for the Swedish film adaptation of Nobel Prize winner Harry Martinson’s sci-fi poem, Aniara. Published in 1956, Martinson’s original work tells the story of a colonist spaceship headed for Mars that is knocked off-course, sending its crew plummeting into existential despair. The term “Aniara” itself comes from a Greek word that basically means “sad” or “in despair”, which is only fitting given the subject matter. It is confirmed JBL Link Bar release has been delayed. According to a Twitter user Nate Harris, he received an email from his retailer to inform him his order will not reach him by the end of the year. The reason behind this rests with JBL. The original release date for the Link Bar was 16th October as announced by B&H during the Google’s I/O event held in May. For Mac Pro users, that means breaking out the wired mouse and keyboard as it has no integrated input and turning off Bluetooth means disconnecting the signal from a Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard....
