Google seems to be quite busy the in the act of darkening. Well, if you are not able to get the pun, we are referring to the Google Apps that are getting dark mode. Currently, the Android Phone v24 brings the dark mode feature. However, it is yet to be available in its stable avatar. The new version of the Phone App also brings some changes to the design of the Settings tab.
You may see how the various options inside the Settings tab are separated by horizontal lines. You may compare with older version i.e. v23 and check the difference. I installed the Phone App v24 on my device. Though I can see the visual tweaks on the Settings tab, I don’t see any option for the dark mode. Maybe it will integrate later on.
The Android Phone v24 is yet to hit the Google Play store. On the Play store, the What’s New section mentions that Dark Mode will come soon. However, you can get the latest Android Phone App v24.0 on APK Mirror.
If you are installing an application from the third party on your phone, you have to enable permission for that. Also, be careful that, these Apps from unknown sources are not officially signed by Google. They may make your device buggy. We do not advise you to install Apps from the third party sources.
Google is actually busy revamping its Apps. Yesterday itself we shared the Android Message App v3.6 which is getting changes on it icon design and adds more features. The message App also received Dark Mode feature a couple of weeks ago. Dark mode eases the strain on your eyes when you are using your device at the night time. So, Android users, watch out on the Play store for the phone app v24 update. Alternatively, you may try installing the third party App, but may not get the Dark mode.
