Apple has recently added the 27-inch iMac with Retina display, originally released in October 2014, to the refurbished section of its online store. Currently, the baseline 5K iMac with a 3.5 GHz quad-core Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a 1 TB Fusion Drive, and an AMD Radeon R9 graphics processor will cost you $2,119 refurbished from Apple. That’s $380 – or 15%- off the price of a new model.

Two other variations of the Retina 5K iMac are also now available from the Apple online refurbished store. For $2,419, you get the same Intel Core i5 processor and AMD R9 graphics processor, but also a 3 TB fusion drive and 16 GB of RAM. For $2,549, you can opt for the model with 512 GB of flash storage.

All three of these refurbished Retina iMacs are listed as in-stock and shipping now, but Apple refurbs are notorious for their varying availability. These could be gone in no time, so if you’ve been holding out on pulling the trigger, now might be the best time.

We’ve seen various discounts on brand new 5K iMacs on 9to5Toys over the last few months. For those looking for only brand new machines, keep an eye on 9to5Toys for those deals. Apple refurbished products are generally a great buy, however, and all come with a 1-year warranty.
