A day after a report claimed that Apple is operating in a “panic” trying to make key iPhone 8 features ready for launch time, analysts today are predicting a delay for the device itself. As noted by CNBC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch analysts released a report today claiming that the iPhone 8 will ship 3 to 4 weeks later than anticipated… The report, from analysts Wamsi Mohan and Stefano Pascale, cites recent conversations with supply chain sources in China....

Today Google has finally opened the curtain of the latest Android update known as Android Oreo. The update was in beta preview stage for few supported Pixel and Nexus device. After months of waiting today, Google has officially announced that the next Android version will be named as Android Oreo. The update has rolled out in a stable stage for all the supported Pixel and Nexus device. Earlier the update was in a beta stage with developer preview and now the company has rolled both the OTA and Factory images to the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and also includes Nexus Player and Pixel C....

There’s something so enticing about what could have been with Anthem that, a month after it launched and without much hope in the way of it being salvaged. An Any Person, Living Or Dead movie is in the works, with Kumail Nanjiani set to star. The upcoming film is based on a short story from author and comedic actor Simon Rich, who appeared on SNL for four seasons, from 2007-2011. The film will be one of three upcoming projects with screenplays by Rich. In addition to his work as a writer and star of SNL, Rich’s career is a rapidly growing one....

Reuters reports today that Apple, Google, Adobe, and Intel have settled in the long running antitrust lawsuit filed by employees alleging the companies entered into agreements to not hire employees from one another. Apple previously settled out of court in a lawsuit brought on by the Department of Justice for the same practices, but the class-action suit from employees settled today was given the go ahead last year. The lawsuits have exposed many emails between Steve Jobs, Google executives and others showing the companies regularly discussed agreements in place to prevent hires from the other companies....

If you’re missing a couple of Activity achievements after upgrading to iOS 12, you’re not alone. Specifically, a few of the limited edition achievements are missing. Apple says it is aware of the issue and these should reappear in a future update to iOS 12. Makkari, Lauren Ridloff’s character in Marvel’s The Eternals movie, could replace Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) as the MCU’s fastest hero. Quicksilver, despite being a key member of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Marvel Comics, was tragically killed off in the same film that he debuted, Avengers: Age of Ultron. There have long been theories and rumors postulating that Quicksilver would somehow return to the MCU, but none have come true yet. The Marvel movies are about to get a new speedster in the form of a gender-swapped Makkari, who is set to appear in Eternals, the second film on Marvel’s Phase 4 slate....

A recent report from CenturyLinkQuote looks at the amount of money Americans lost last year in online scams that were reported to the FBI. Angel Has Fallen struggles to bring greater depth to the otherwise (mostly) enjoyably cheesy throwback elements the franchise is known for. When the Taken films ran out of new characters to have “taken”, they ripped off The Fugitive and sent Bryan Mills on the run in Taken 3, instead.
